A FOOTIE fan is so confident England will bring the World Cup home he has ALREADY had a tattoo commemorating the win. Dad Teddy Allen, 30, had "World Cup Winners 2018" inked on his thigh along with the face of captain Harry Kane - all before England play Croatia in the semi-finals tomorrow night. The dad-of-two spent four hours in the chair to show off his support for the England team, The Mirror reported. He said: "It’s the team England have this year – such a young team and they’re gelling together much better than any of the teams I’ve seen before. "That’s why I think we’ll win. I’ve thought it from day one, but especially after our 6-1 win against Panama." And he admitted despite being a Stoke City fan, Harry Kane was his favourite player. Teddy, of Biddulph, Staffs, said: "I hate the goals he’s put in against us. "But I’m prepared to put that behind me for the country. Even the haters and pessimists have got … [Read more...] about England fan so confident Three Lions will win the World Cup that he got THIS tattooed on his leg

But Peter Lockolds, bar manager of The Mischief, on Fye Bridge Street, said their supplies had been delivered as routine. He said: “We have Heinekien beer and cloudy apple cider and we have more than enough. They guaranteed all of our deliveries and so far it has been fine.” Fat Cat Brewery Tap. SUMMER doesn't just mean sunny weather and longer days - unfortunately the change in season also brings plagues of midges. The little critters are hard to get rid of and can leave painful bite marks across the skin. Here's the lowdown on the tiny insects who have been causing havoc at the 2018 World Cup... What are midges? Midges are small insects that come from the same family as mosquitoes. They are most visible in the summer months in the Highlands of Scotland as well as Wales and elsewhere in Europe. They often fly together in big swarms and gather in clouds with the female of the species known for biting other animals and sucking their blood. Most of the animals they bite are cattle, sheep and deer but they can also feast on human skin, leaving an irritating bite mark that can swell up. By Rob Harris Updated 4:49 pm, Monday, June 18, 2018 VOLGOGRAD, Russia — Twice wrestled to the ground during the match, England captain Harry Kane finally evaded the Tunisian defense just as time was running out. Kane found an open area of space at the far post and used his head to meet Harry Maguire’s flick-on, scoring the winning goal Monday in a 2-1 victory at the World Cup. It was relief for Kane and Gareth Southgate, who leapt into the air in delight as his World Cup debut as a coach got off to a winning start. “The best teams in the world keep that belief in what they’re doing,” Southgate said, “and in the end they break the opposition down.” England shouldn’t have found it so tough in its Group G opener against such opposition. Not after Kane got England off to a perfect start with an 11th-minute tap in. But after Kyle Walker softly conceded a penalty that Ferjani Sassi converted in the 35th, many of the fouls went … [Read more...] about World Cup: England uses Kane’s header in added time to beat Tunisia
