Newsday reports that the Long Island Rail Road train where Colin Ferguson opened fire on Dec. 7, 1993, still provides daily rides to hundreds of commuters. Some riders have posted on social media that traveling in the ill-fated train car is "creepy." LIRR spokesman Aaron Donovan says the decision to retain the car was not made lightly. Woman's Spine Fractured in Subway Assault: NYPD The train's cars were less than 10 years old when the shooting occurred. Donovan says the cars bear no evidence of the bloodbath. The now 60-year-old Ferguson is incarcerated at Upstate Correctional Facility near the Canadian border. He is eligible for parole in 2309.
