THE heartbroken family of girl scout Jodie Chesney have revealed their agony over her 'random and unprovoked' murder. The 17-year-old was stabbed in the back by masked thugs as she listened to music with pals on a park bench in Romford on Friday night. Police said Jodie’s attacker is described as black and in his late teens. No arrests have been made. Jodie's uncle Dave Chesney, a vicar at an East London church, said the family are 'devastated' over their loss. He told ITV News: “This was a totally random and unprovoked attack on a beautiful, lovely and quirky young girl with her whole life in front of her.” The Metropolitan Police said the group had been aware of two men in the park who left around 9pm without interacting with them. Associated Press Published 7:57 AM EST Nov 5, 2018 Lake Hallie, Wis. – Investigators have yet to determine why a pickup veered across a highway in rural western Wisconsin and crashed into Girl Scouts collecting trash, killing three and critically injuring a parent. Colten Treu, 21, sped off after the collision in Lake Hallie Saturday morning, but later surrendered. Treu, will be charged with four counts of homicide, Lake Hallie police Sgt. Daniel Sokup said. No attorney who can speak for Treu was identified Sunday. Authorities have not released the names and ages of any of the victims. The girls were fourth graders at Halmstad Elementary School and Southview Elementary School in nearby Chippewa Falls, about 90 miles east of Minneapolis. THREE Girl Scouts have been killed after a pick-up truck swerved towards them while litter-picking from a ditch along a road in Wisconsin. A woman is also dead and a fourth girl is fighting for life in hospital after the hit-and-run at 11.40am local time on Saturday. Police said the driver of the black Ford F-150 pickup truck fled the scene but later turned himself in and named as 21-year-old Colton Treu, of Chippewa, Falls. The Girl Scouts were all wearing bright safety vests and were accompanied by several adults as collected litter from a ditch in Lake Hallie, a town about 95 miles east of Minneapolis. All of the youngsters were in the fourth grade - which is equivalent to Year Five - at Halmstad Elementary School in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reported. Sgt.
