If you go to your physician's office and inquire about your weight status, he or she will measure your height and weight to derive your BMI (weight in kg divided by height in m squared). Then they will compare your BMI to that of established criteria to decide whether you are underweight (<18.5 kg/m2), normal weight (18.5-24.9 kg/m2), overweight (25-29.9 kg/m2), or obese (>30 kg/m2) . But behind their proud smiles, these men all share a secret - every player is a father who has lost a child - and the group play to support each other through their grief, both on and off the pitch. Sadly, the death of a baby is not a rare event and every 90 minutes in the UK – the length of a football match - a baby dies shortly before, during or soon after birth. This is why each player has the name of his 'lost angel' emblazoned on his shirt. "It makes me feel like I'm doing something for them. I'm more motivated to score. We do it for our angels," player Kieran says. 'We're playing for our kids so we play hard' The team – which has over 30 players - was set up by Rob Allen, 32, after his baby daughter Niamh died in October 2017 at 39 weeks and 3 days. While he and his wife Charlotte, 32, had been told at weeks into the pregnancy that she was breach, they had no … [Read more...] about Grieving dads form most heartbreaking football team in Britain, wearing the names of their ‘lost angels’ on their shirts
