As usual with Subaru SUVs, the Ascent will come with all-wheel drive and a boxer-style (horizontally opposed) engine. In the case of the Ascent, this is a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine producing 260 horsepower and 277 foot-pounds of torque.
