Queens family court child support
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry just want to blaze their own trail, but someone is reportedly throwing cold water on their plans. That person is the Duke of Sussex's grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II. According to the Sunday Times, Meghan and Harry are understood to have lobbied for an autonomous new court, but the Queen and Harry's father Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales, who will jointly fund their office, were not having it. "They wanted their household to be entirely independent of Buckingham Palace, but were told 'no,'" a royal source told the newspaper. The feeling is that it's good to have the Sussexes under the jurisdiction of Buckingham Palace, so they can't just go off and do their own thing." The Sunday Times reported that Meghan and Harry want to build a global "Sussex brand" of philanthropy and humanitarianism, and that the duchess is also understood to want to continue in her role as an … [Read more...] about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Independence Bid Vetoed by Queen: Report

A royal source told The Sunday Times last night: “William and Harry are working to make sure the … [Read more...] about Royal family in turmoil as Prince Harry and William split households amid fallout from Meghan Markle’s family row

In 2010, cross-cultural couples – or those involving a native Swede and a foreigner – made up nine percent of all married couples in Sweden. And according to a survey of expats in Sweden by Internations, more foreigners relocate to Sweden to be with their partner than for any other reason: 25 percent of those who responded said they moved to the country for love. This group faces unique challenges, from where to spend Christmas to which language to use with their children, while the partner who relocates must adjust to an entirely new culture, often leaving behind a job, family and friends. So what about the people who uproot their lives for a relationship which later ends? It's not an uncommon situation; the divorce rate among cross-cultural couples is significantly higher than that of both native couples and those where both partners come from the same foreign country, yet … [Read more...] about What happens when you move across the world for love, then break up?
