India Records 15,940 Covid-19 Infections, 20 Fatalities In A Day
Home Health Wellness Wellness on June 25, 2022 India's tally of Covid infections rose by 15,940 in a day to reach 4,33,78,234 while the active caseload increased to 91,779, according to the Union Health Ministry data updated on Saturday.The death toll climbed to 5,24,974 with 20 more fatalities, the data updated at 8 am stated. Active cases rose by 3,495 in a day and now comprise 0.21 per cent of the total infections, while the national COVID-19 recovery rate was recorded at 98.58 per cent, the health ministry said. The daily positivity rate was recorded at 4.39 per cent while the weekly positivity rate was 3.30 per cent, according to the health ministry. The number of people who have recuperated from the disease surged to 4,27,61,481, while the case fatality rate was 1.21 per cent. 15-Year-Old Girl With Fused Kidney Undergoes Robotic Surgery

According to doctors at BLK-Max Super Speciality Hospital, the case was challenging as the doctors had to ensure the removal of the cyst with minimal damage to the solitary kidney of the child along with its blood vessels and ureter. In this case, the renal vessels and ureter were abnormally intermingled with the cyst and injury to any of these structures would have been catastrophic to the patient, said the hospital. Home Pregnancy parenting Basics Basics on June 24, 2022 Couples who intend to take the surrogacy route to becoming parents will have to buy a general health insurance coverage in favour of a surrogate mother for a period of 36 months, according to the Surrogacy (Regulation) Rules issued recently. The insurance amount should be sufficient enough to cover expenses for all complications arising out of the pregnancy and also postpartum delivery complications. According to the rules notified by the Union health ministry on June 21, the number of attempts of any surrogacy procedure on the surrogate mother should not be more than three times. The surrogate mother may be allowed for abortion during the process of surrogacy in accordance with the Medical Termination of Pregnancy Act, 1971.
