And, of course, by contrast, promoters of "natural health" would never, ever be motivated by profit. … [Read more...] about And they say I’m in it for the money?
Painter said when he visited Dallas Monday and Tuesday, he saw planes sitting out-of-service for whole days without maintenance work being performed. He said he's concerned mechanics are being set up for failing to fix what's been billed as an emergency by the company.Contacted about the union's claims, Southwest responded with a statement that reiterated its main focus is the safety of customers and employees."The airline continues to experience a high number of out-of-service aircraft and is operating under a staffing protocol enacted late last week to maximize availability of mechanics to address maintenance items and safely return aircraft to service," the statement said. Its nearly 400 cancellations represented 9 percent of its fleet, down from 11 percent Wednesday, according to data from FlightAware and Southwest. The airline said 270 cancellations were weather-related.In the last week, Southwest … [Read more...] about Union: Southwest isn’t calling Dallas mechanics in on overtime, despite operational emergency

The results were shocking. An overwhelming majority, (84 percent) of the young respondents admit that they don’t know how to change a light bulb. While most scored high on computer and tech skills, approximately 75 percent admit they can’t defrost a kitchen freezer and 67 percent lack the confidence to put up a shelf. This is the same up-and-coming generation that thinks that democratic socialism can save the world’s economy. It’s also now abundantly clear that many of our so-called “public servants” are really just wolves in very thin sheep’s clothing, preying on the populace using the constant threat of violence. While the role of government would seem to be, at least in theory, all about protecting the rights and freedoms of those being governed, most governments – including our own – end up becoming … [Read more...] about Bureaucrats are the “predatory class” that feeds on everybody else… it’s time to STOP the predators
