DETECTIVES will not stop hunting for missing Madeleine McCann - despite their force being cash-strapped and officer numbers falling, Britain’s top cop reportedly said last night. Met Police commissioner Cressida Dick is said to have given the long-running multimillion-pound Operation Grange her backing, reportedly saying the probe will continue until it has “reached its conclusion”. Her comments come after the £12million investigation – which has never charged any suspect – was given an additional £150,000 by the Home Office last month. The probe’s funding boost draw fierce criticism on social media, particularly as London is suffering from spiralling street violence with 130 killings in the capital so far this year.
