Mozambique reported its first case since 1992 on Wednesday, according to the World Health Organization (WHO). It's the second case to be detected on the continent this year, after Malawi reported Africa's first case in five years in February. The case in Mozambique was detected in a child in the country's northeastern Tete province, according to the WHO. Like the case reported earlier this year in Malawi, genomic sequencing shows it is linked to a strain that circulated in Pakistan in 2019. A nationwide vaccination campaign launched in Malawi in March targeting children aged 5 years and younger. Mozambique also recently carried out its own campaign, the WHO said. But, acupuncture does nothing to increase the chance of getting pregnant through the process of IVF, says the infertility experts. They conducted the studies analyzing 14 trials involving 2670 people. All the trials involved acupuncture, in which needles were inserted into different areas of the body at different stages in the IVF cycle. After the analysis, it was found that acupuncture had no impact on the pregnancy or live birth rate. This will not cause any harm or miscarriages, says the studies.
