A FED up boss was quite literally left tearing his hair out over "waste of time" job applicants after more than half didn't show up for an interview. Paul Bowen, 29, runs father and son company Bowen Pies with dad Vince, 58, and had 80 applicants for the night baker role at their Chorley, Lancs, firm. But he was left fuming when clearing the day to interview seven potential candidates - only for three to bother turning up. In a video of his meltdown, he tells how one job applicant calls up and informs Paul that she is unavailable for interview for three months while another is unsure he even wants to work nights, despite the role being for a night baker. At one point the boss is left so frustrated that he throws the phone in anger. A MUM claims she had a stroke after having her hair washed six times during a £200 salon appointment. Nurse Adele Burns, 47, says medics linked the life-threatening event with having her head repeatedly pulled back onto the hard basin. Speaking to the Daily Record, Adele said she had gone to the Rainbow Room International in Glasgow, but she had to have her hair washed six times because staff kept getting the colour wrong. The mum, from Mid Calder, West Lothian, is now launching a £1million lawsuit against the salon. She said: "My life has been turned upside down from what was meant to be a rare day out. "With backing from my doctors, there is no doubt in my mind the salon caused the stroke."
