Greta Van Fleet have announced details of an extra London date on their UK tour. The group will now play the O2 Forum Kentish Town on November 12. Their newly added show comes after huge demand for their original shows on November 9 and 11, which are now sold out. It will be in support of their upcoming debut album Anthem of the Peaceful Army. Due for release on October 19 it features singles When the Curtain Falls and Watching Over. It follows up their two 2017 EPs Black Smoke Rising and From the Fires. The band will hit the Fox Theatre on Dec. 27, the biggest Detroit concert yet for the young Michigan hard-rock group. Tickets for Greta Van Fleet's Fox show will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. GVF played two sold-out shows at Detroit's Saint Andrew's Hall to close out 2017. The band sees the holiday-season hometown concert as a budding tradition. The 10-song set, which is now available for pre-order, was recorded in Nashville and at Royal Oak's Rustbelt Studios and was produced by Marlon Young, Al Sutton and Herschel Boone. “This record is going to be a heavy hitter,” Sam Kiszka, the group's bassist, told the News in May. “We poured our hearts and souls into this thing. I think it’s the start of something very serious.” The album follows the group’s two 2017 EPs, “Black Smoke Rising” and “From the Fires.” The band, which played three sold-out nights at the Fillmore Detroit in May, is expected to support the album with a concert at the Fox Theatre, which was being advertised outside the Fillmore shows. The Michigan rock quartet also issued a second song from the 10-track record, "Watching Over," which can be heard on the major music services. It follows the July release of "When the Curtain Falls," which sits at No. 5 this week on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Songs chart. The album is now available for pre-order, and buyers will receive a free download of "Watching Over."
