A SWISS man was declared a lottery millionaire live on television only to have the win cancelled after a blunder with the draw. Technical problems with the complicated system used for drawing names out of a drum are being blamed for Andreas Bürkli’s win having to be annulled. Swiss public TV channel SRF apologised to him and he was reported to have been a “good sport” about the error. They are looking at how they can make it up to him, Blick reported. All seemed to be going well when his name was pulled out of a drum and read out by German singer Herbert Grönemeyer on the television show Happy Day. A ticker-tape fanfare and a briefcase loaded with cash greeted his apparent life changing good fortune. But it soon became clear there had been a technical blunder. ENGLISHMEN are hated by one in three French adults because of our football hooliganism, lack of style and obsession with the Royal Family, new research has found. Shockingly just 15 per cent of Germans felt as passionately as the French when asked what annoys them most about English people. The fact that we drive on the left is what makes Frenchmen hate us the most - as well as our cooking, arrogance and love of tea. Researchers polled 700 French adults alongside 700 Germans to discover which nation has the most contempt for the English. The 15 per cent of Germans who hate the English said their number one gripe was our "hooligan" footy fans who follow teams across Europe. Moscow17 is a drill band that has racked-up millions of views on YouTube. They post music videos or clips in which they brag about their links to street violence and gun crime, and taunt or insult rival gangs in Peckham and Brixton. Several of the gourp's songs glorifying violence are even available on Apple for 99p each and Spotify where the group has more than 21,000 unique listeners.
