11 delicious avocado recipes that don’t involve avocado toast
11 Healthy Nutritionist-approved Avocado Recipes You already know they’re delicious — and even decadent-tasting — mashed on toast, but here are some other ways to enjoy avocados. I’ve selected a mix of sweet and savory recipes since avocados pair just as well with both. But don’t take my word for it. Try one of these avocado-based dishes and desserts and you’ll be a believer. Chocolatey dessert lovers, I stand with you. Which brings me to this epic, rich, chocolatey pudding. Sainsbury’s cafe serves up smashed avocado brunch – and it looks NOTHING like the ad
A SHOPPER eager for a quick breakfast before hitting the aisles was stunned to find her smashed avocado on fancy sourdough toast didn't quite live up to the promised photo. Jennie Griffiths tweeted her disappointment after she was presented with two bog-standard slices of toast with a few thin dabs of the topping, at the Sainsbury's cafe in Thornhill, Cardiff. A snap of what should have come her way showed a tasty feast of a thick layer of avocado covering two golden slices of Artisinal-style sourdough bread. But in an ultimate breakfast fail, Jennie instead had to make do with what appeared to be a very unlovingly put together brekkie - that cost her £2. The head of joint fire control for South Wales and Mid and West Wales, tweeted: "So being a busy person I thought I'd have my breakfast in @sainsburys before doing my shopping. "They advertised the first photo... ok that looks good... but I received the second photo." She was asked if she wanted to contribute to a food blog … [Read more...] about Sainsbury’s cafe serves up smashed avocado brunch – and it looks NOTHING like the ad

The study, conducted by scientists from Tufts University, found that for adults aged 50 and older, those who ate a fresh avocado a day had increased their lutein levels in their eyes and demonstrated improved working memory and problem-solving skills. Lutein is a carotenoid found in yellow- and … [Read more...] about 1 avocado a day for 6 months can improve brain function in older adults: Study
