Deepfake videos are made using artificial intelligence technology which can manipulate someone's face in a video to make it look like they are saying something that they didn't. It's one level up from dubbing, or lip syncing and can appear very convincing. One example is a video that was made using footage of Mark Zuckerburg in 2017, it was doctored and falsely portrays the Facebook CEO discussing how he had stolen data. In the deepfake video, Zuckerburg's voice which has been replaced by an actor says: "Imagine this for one second. One man, with total control of billions of people's stolen data, all their secrets, their lives, their futures." Nearly one in five cancer patients are not treated within the target time at Morecambe Bay’s health trust, new NHS data reveals. The Royal College of Surgeons says the NHS is struggling to deal with increasing demand for cancer treatments and warns many patients are facing “unacceptable” delays. NHS targets state that 85 per cent of patients should be treated within 62 days of an urgent GP referral for cancer.But NHS England data shows that only 82 per cent of patients treated in April waited for less than two months at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust (UHMBT) – compared to 96.9 per cent three years earlier.It means 16 people were not treated within the target period. The Prince of Wales, who is next in line to the throne, was announced as a patron of the Faculty of Homeopathy (FoH) on Wednesday. The FoH is a British professional body that regulates and promotes homeopathy, a form of complementary medicine based on the philosophy that "like cures like." In homeopathy, if something causes a symptom in your body, you take it in a diluted form to boost your body's ability to fight it. These remedies typically include a plant or a mineral in a tiny amount.
