And she’s performing on a holiday music tour through the South this fall. Life is gloriously busy for the award-winning country music star, who went from selling T-shirts at Garth Brooks’ shows to opening for him and starting her own meteoric rise up the charts: Six No. 1 hits, 20 top 10 singles and 18 million albums sold. She’s already published one cookbook and this followup, titled “Martina’s Kitchen Mix: My Recipe Playlist for Real Life” from Oxmoor House, is no celeb slapping a brand on some nameless chef’s recipes. McBride loves to cook, develops recipes herself and has multiple tested each one in this collection of 100. (What is it with country divas and cookbooks? And McBride’s cooking show, “Martina’s Table,” debuts Nov. 18 on the Food Network with an easy Thanksgiving feast for guests including friends, family and fellow musicians.
