A TERRIFIED couple have told how their lives have been made hell by a nightmare stalker dubbed ‘The Watcher’ who sends them chilling letters about their kids. During three haunting years, the obsessed oddball sent a series of bizarre handwritten notes to the Broaddus family at their six-bedroom New Jersey home. “It’s like cancer,” Derek Broaddus,, 43, told the New York Magazine. “Sometimes, I wake up in the middle of the night thinking, ‘What would my life be like if this didn’t happen?’ “We lost Christmas a couple times, and you don’t get that back,” he added revealing the letters turned him into a “depressed wreck.” Maria Broaddus revealed the spooky ordeal gave her nightmares including one which involved a man “carrying a pitchfork and calling to the kids.” The first letter arrived just three days after the family moved into the £800,000 large detached home in the district of Westfield in June 2014. “Dearest new neighbour….allow me to welcome you to the neighbourhood,” the letter began before revealing his family have been stalking the Dutch colonial-style home for DECADES. “657 Boulevard has been the subject of my family for decades now and as it approaches its 110th birthday, I have been put in charge of watching and waiting for its second coming. “My grandfather watched the house in the 1920s and my father watched in the 1960s.
