To watch, visit: https://youtu.be/NUKOhNv9qAU Five major candidates seeking to be the next governor of Tennessee will discuss key issues facing the state and how they will address them at a forum hosted by the Chattanooga Times Free Press this evening. The Times Free Press Gubernatorial Forum is being held at the Univeristy of Tennessee at Chattanooga in the University Center’s Tennessee Room. Participating candidates include Republicans Randy Boyd, former Tennessee Economic and Community Development commissioner; Tennessee Speaker of the House Rep. Beth Harwell; businessman Bill Lee; and Democrats Karl Dean, former mayor of Nashville; and state Rep. Craig Fitzhugh. Campaign staff of U.S. Rep. Diane Black, R-Tenn., said the congresswoman would be in another part of the state at the time of the forum. The 90-minute discussion will be moderated by Times Free Press Business Editor Dave Flessner and Government Reporter Judy Walton. Early voting begins July 13 for the primary election, which will be held on Aug. 2.
